With Brexit causing loads of issues importing product from Europe, we decided it was about time we produced our own Roe / Muntjac call. After considerable testing, we found the perfect reed – and combined it with some 150 year old seasoned oak to produce the OAKWOOD ROE / MUNTJAC Call…
During testing, a prototype was given to Tim (Check Tim out on Instagram) and on his first outing, he called a young doe – closely followed by a pair of bucks.
Supply is limited at the moment – but as soon as I can get in the workshop, I’ll turn some more!

Excellent call on Muntjac! Was out with a mate a few days ago and he’d already shot a couple of muntjac does and getting on for last light I spotted a buck a few yards off a ride into some woodland. I had my rifle on sticks and was waiting for the munty to present a shot when my “stealthy” mate approached in his size 15s and the deer spooked about 10 yards back into heavy cover. After a couple of minutes calling with the Oakwood, curiosity got the better of him (the buck, not my mate) and presented for a shot. Very positive response to the call – 10/10!
